Sundra Naidoo entered insurance in 1987, aged 23, at P Naidoo and Associates, and founded Lakshmi Brokers Trust in 1997.
Sundra grew up in the black community of Port Elizabeth, and sat the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® exam in 2001. Sundra’s studies include a post-graduate diploma in financial planning (University of the Free State) and the Captains of Industry programme (Henley Business School).
Sundra chaired the Independent Broker Council (IBC), Port Elizabeth sector, for 9 terms, chaired the Eastern Cape division of the IBC, and was a founding director of the Financial Intermediaries Association (FIA) in 2007.
